From 11\u201314 September 2025, the 11th International EKOFORUM Congress will take place here, an event that for years has set the direction of the green transition while promoting innovative solutions in ecology, energy, and sustainable development. <\/strong><\/p>\n

New Energy, New Location, Enduring Mission<\/strong><\/p>\n

This year, the Congress relocates to Zamo\u015b\u0107\u2014a city hailed as the \u201cideal city\u201d for centuries, admired for its urban layout and harmonious blend of architecture, science, and intercultural cooperation. The 2025 edition runs under the motto: \u201cThe Ideal City \u2013 Progress in Human Life, Economy, and Region\u201d, perfectly capturing the dual essence of Zamo\u015b\u0107\u2019s tradition and modern aspirations. <\/p>\n

– \u2014 \u201cThis year\u2019s 11th edition of EKOFORUM marks a new chapter in the history of our initiative. We continue our mission to promote ecological and energy innovation and renewable energy sources\u2014but this time, with renewed energy and in a new location: Zamo\u015b\u0107. Zamo\u015b\u0107 \u2013 A Space for Cooperation, Knowledge, and Harmony<\/strong><\/p>\n

A city that, since the time of Jan Zamoyski, has merged science, culture, and development, Zamo\u015b\u0107 naturally emerges today as a venue for vital conversations about Europe\u2019s energy and environmental future.<\/p>\n

\u2014 \u201cIt is only natural that we have become a partner of the Congress\u2014it fulfills our mission. Zamo\u015b\u0107 is rightly called the Padua of the North. This Renaissance, academic city\u2014steeped in both Polish and European culture\u2014holds a unique position in this part of Europe. It exemplifies successful cooperation and development, creating an integrated environment for human life grounded in tradition, science, collaboration, and sustainable use of natural resources. It has also been called the ideal city\u2014where diverse nationalities and cultures could work together in peace for the common good. In 2021, after 234 years, the Zamo\u015b\u0107 Academy was revived\u2014becoming once again a space not only for education, but for research that genuinely serves human progress. This progress integrates the development of livelihoods with the development of the human being, as well as a respect for the laws of nature\u2014those found in the natural world and in the human heart. The Academy is becoming a platform for prudent, responsible, and unified social, economic, and energy policies,\u201d <\/em> says Dr. hab. Pawe\u0142 Skrzydlewski, Professor at AZ and Rector of the Zamo\u015b\u0107 Academy. <\/p><\/blockquote>\n
